A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
The Public Area Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our gaming areas, restaurants/bars, restrooms and other work areas determined by management while providing exceptional guest service. All employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner which demonstrates friendliness, initiative, professionalism, personal awareness and integrity while exercising confidentiality in the appropriate areas of their performance.

Graveyard 11pm-7am @ $18/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote positive guest relations by projecting a courteous, helpful attitude Pick up trash/replace trash liners, empty ashtrays, refill paper/liquid product dispensers, assist with snow removal and furniture moving as needed Wipe down/sanitize all surfaces, dust fixtures, clean walls and vents, vacuum, remove mats in bars and kitchens, sweep & mop floors, and furniture as needed Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and shampooing rugs Must identify and respond immediately to any hazardous material in work area Adhere to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures Regularly provide information to management regarding guest reactions, comments, or problems that may arise and any safety/appearance concerns throughout the casino to ensure a quality and safe environment Show willingness and effort to work as a team Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 Ability to courteously and efficiently interact with fellow employees, management and guests to ensure a positive experience Must pay attention to detail including cleanliness and safety Ability to move, transport and operate heavy-duty or industrial type equipment such as vacuums, blowers, extractors and rotary shampooers Ability to communicate effectively and listen attentively Respond positively to changes in locations, assignments and priorities Ability to move trash cart from work areas to unload in dumpster Must follow verbal and written directions, policies, and procedures Ability to lift, handle and carry a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to bend, kneel, stand, walk and exert well-paced mobility during entire shift Must be available to work weekends and holidays
