Albany International Airport SUMMARY:
Keeps designated facilities in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Sweeps, mops, scrubs or otherwise cleans windows, offices, breakrooms, hallways, bathrooms and public areas as assigned. Operates floor cleaners, vacuums and other cleaning machines. Maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies. Replenishes soap and paper dispensers. Empties trash and garbage containers. Notifies supervision of the need for building or cleaning equipment repairs Runs errands as necessary. Participates in Total Quality Management programs. May be required to perform any other related duties as assigned .
QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
