Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a Janitor in partnership with a prominent client in the Hillcrest, NY area within a manufacturing setting.

Summary Shift:

1st: 30- 32 hours per week

Salary:

$18 per hour

Janitorial Job Duties:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures. Restock restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, hand sanitizer, and other hygiene products. Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility and dispose of waste in designated areas. Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, windowsills, equipment exteriors, and other fixtures. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors in common areas. Follow proper procedures for handling and storing cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Perform other janitorial, housekeeping, and facility duties as assigned. Janitorial Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma/GED Previous janitorial or custodial experience Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Janitorial experience in manufacturing, warehouse or industrial setting is helpful Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
