A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

As a Janitor / Custodian•Part Time, you will be supporting the maintenance of the building, kitchen, and school facilities. The ideal candidate will have dependability, organization, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, synagogue, and school facilities through sweeping, trash removal, and cleaning Assist with food preparation for events and religious services Perform light handyman duties such as painting and changing lightbulbs Set up tables and chairs for events and prepare trays with drinks and challah for classrooms Support custodial needs throughout the facility and assist with classroom cleaning after school activities What's Needed?
