Evening Hours Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays 6pm-10pm Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-time Evening Cleaning Technician and be a vital part of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring facilities are spotless and well-maintained during evening hours, contributing to a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial or residential facilities using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and floor buffing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained Operate floor buffers and other specialized cleaning machinery safely and effectively to preserve flooring integrity Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, manual lifting, heavy lifting practices, and equipment operation to prevent accidents Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling cleaning chemicals and adhering to safety procedures at all times Conduct routine maintenance checks on cleaning equipment and report any issues promptly Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or basic repairs as needed Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial or residential cleaning techniques Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with staff or visitors Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors Experience in facilities maintenance or general upkeep work is preferred Strong adherence to safety protocols combined with attention to detail ensures high-quality work standards This role offers an exciting opportunity for energetic individuals eager to contribute their cleaning expertise in a fast-paced environment.
