Job Description

Salary Range:
$16.00/hour, plus $0.55/hour shift differential Immediate opening for Full-time Cleaner (2nd shift) -
Clarence Center Elementary:
The work involves performing routine manual tasks in the care and cleaning of Clarence Central School District buildings. The work requires the performance of simple cleaning tasks which require frequent bending, stretching, stooping and walking. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a higher ranking custodial or administrative employee. Does related work as required. •
IMMEDIATE START
Hours:
2nd shift, Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Location:
Clarence Center Elementary Starting salary: $16.00/hour, plus $0.55/hour shift differential
Typical Work Activites:
Cleans and services buildings by use of mops, brushes, detergents, and other cleaning tools for the sweeping and mopping of offices, halls, stairways, walls, partitions and windows etc. Moves furniture and equipment in connection with cleaning and care function Be able to lift upto 40 lbs. Vacuums carpets, mops floors Dusts woodwork, furniture and fixtures Dusts light fixtures and ceilings Scrubs and cleans all areas of lavatories, such as sinks, toilets, urinals, etc. Polishes wood, metal fixtures and equipment Picks up and disposes of trash while complying with various Occupational Safety and Health Administration laws and regulations, including reading and understanding Material Safety Data Sheets relating to hazardous materials and other substances Gathers and disposes refuse Replenishes lavatory supplies Valid NYS Driver's License required.
