Cleaning schedule 5:30pm - 9pm Monday, Wednesday and Fridays Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-time Evening Cleaning Technician and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facilities. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work during evening hours, ensuring that our spaces are spotless and well-maintained after regular business hours. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces using various cleaning equipment such as vacuums and mops. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment. Use custodial tools and cleaning equipment efficiently to complete assigned tasks quickly and effectively. Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting and manual handling activities to prevent injuries. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning restrooms, kitchens, common areas, and other designated spaces with attention to detail. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Experience operating floor buffers and performing various floor care techniques is advantageous. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence related to chemical handling safety procedures and heavy lifting practices. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff or clients when necessary. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while maintaining efficiency during cleaning routines. Previous porter experience or facilities maintenance background will be considered a plus for this role.
