A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Custodial Assistant Queens College Student Services Corp - Flushing, NY 11367 Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of all floors, including vacuuming and shampooing carpets, stripping and waxing tile floors. Responsible for all cleaning maintenance including garbage and snow removal throughout the building and outside areas. Responsible for all cleaning and replenishing of all restrooms. Responsible for all set-ups for reservation functions. Must be flexible to work overtime as needed Union / Full Benefits Other duties as assigned. 3 years' experience in related field
