A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

DUTIES:
Various cleaning responsibilities involving heavy lifting, moving furniture, climbing ladders, and using cleaning machines and equipment.
SALARY:

QUALIFICATIONS
Building maintenance and cleaning experience preferred. No Civil Service Test required.
