Job Overview Floor Care Project Manager / Crew LeaderEstablished Floor Care Crew Required | Strip & Wax Expert | Traveling Projects Scrub Masters Plus Corp. is seeking an experienced Floor Care Project Manager / Crew Leader who already has an established, reliable floor-care crew and can manage commercial flooring projects throughout Upstate New York, the Hudson Valley, New York City, and New Jersey. This is not an entry-level cleaning position and is not designed for an individual technician looking for occasional floor work. We are looking for a proven floor-care professional who can bring an experienced crew, lead that team in the field, manage project execution, and deliver consistent, high-quality results for commercial clients. Position Summary The Floor Care Project Manager will be responsible for leading specialized commercial floor-care projects from initial preparation through final inspection. The ideal candidate already manages a dependable floor-care crew and has extensive experience with: Commercial floor stripping Waxing and refinishing Burnishing Scrubbing and recoating Floor restoration Commercial floor equipment Team leadership Project scheduling Quality control Client-site execution The selected candidate will serve as the primary field leader for assigned flooring projects and will be expected to ensure that projects are properly staffed, organized, completed on schedule, and delivered to Scrub Masters Plus Corp. quality standards. Established Crew Required Applicants should already have access to an experienced floor-care team capable of supporting commercial flooring projects.

Your crew should be:

Experienced with commercial strip-and-wax projects Dependable and available for scheduled projects Comfortable working evenings, nights, weekends, or facility shutdown periods Able to travel when required Capable of working efficiently as a coordinated floor-care team Professional in client environments Familiar with commercial floor machines, chemicals, PPE, and safety procedures We are specifically interested in connecting with floor-care professionals who already have the ability to mobilize and manage a crew . Primary Responsibilities The Floor Care Project Manager will: Manage assigned commercial floor-care projects Provide and lead an established floor-care crew Determine appropriate staffing levels for each project Coordinate team arrival, setup, workflow, and project completion Assign responsibilities to crew members Ensure proper floor preparation before stripping or refinishing Oversee complete strip-and-wax procedures Floor Care Expertise Required Applicants must have advanced hands-on knowledge of commercial floor-care operations.

Experience should include:

VCT stripping and refinishing Commercial strip-and-wax procedures Floor finish application Scrub and recoat procedures High-speed burnishing Spray buffing Restorative floor care Low-speed rotary floor machines Monitor chemical dilution, dwell times, stripping procedures, and floor neutralization Ensure floors are properly rinsed and prepared before finish application Supervise professional application of commercial floor finish Manage drying and curing times between coats Oversee burnishing, buffing, scrubbing, and recoating Ensure edges, corners, baseboards, and difficult areas are properly detailed Protect walls, fixtures, furniture, doors, and surrounding surfaces Inspect completed work for quality and consistency Correct deficiencies before leaving the facility Ensure equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained Monitor chemical, pad, equipment, and supply requirements Communicate project status and concerns to Scrub Masters Plus Corp. leadership Maintain professionalism with client representatives Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule Floor Care Expertise Required Applicants must have advanced hands-on knowledge of commercial floor-care operations.

Project Management Expectations This role requires more than technical flooring knowledge. The selected individual must be capable of managing the entire project lifecycle.

What Success Looks Like A successful Floor Care Project Manager should be able to receive an assignment such as: Commercial Facility - 20,000 SQ FT VCT Strip & Refinish and independently determine: How many crew members are required How the project should be staged What equipment is required What chemicals and floor finish are needed How long the project should take How work areas should be divided How drying and curing time should be managed How quality will be inspected How the project will be completed on schedule Scrub Masters Plus Corp. leadership should not have to manage the crew's daily floor-care workflow. You will be responsible for managing the team and the project. Service Territory Projects may be scheduled throughout: Upstate New York Hudson Valley New York City Northern and Central New Jersey Travel is required. Applicants should be willing and able to mobilize their crew throughout these service areas based on project requirements. Ideal Candidate We are especially interested in applicants who: Already operate or manage a floor-care crew Have several years of commercial floor-care experience Equipment Experience Applicants should be comfortable operating and supervising the use of: 175 RPM floor machines High-speed burnishers Automatic scrubbers Wet/dry vacuums Floor stripping equipment Commercial floor pads Floor finishing equipment Commercial chemical dispensing systems Schedule Floor-care projects may occur: Evenings Overnight Weekends During facility shutdown periods Project schedules will vary depending on client requirements.
