A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time 2nd Shift Custodial Worker (3pm-10:30pm). Typical work includes simple cleaning tasks under the general supervision of District Custodians. Work may include, but is not limited to, the following: Dusting Washing walls, windows, woodwork, bathrooms Sweep, mop, wash floors Strip and wax floors Maintain building exteriors Gather and dispose of refuse Clean and polish furniture Assist in minor repairs Assist in snow removal For additional information click here:
