A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Full Time Day Shift Cleaner Pay Range:
$18.00 to $20.00 per hour Position summary: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include notifying management of need for repairs.Tasks:
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them as per each individual account specification and supervisor's instruction. Gather and empty trash. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.Skills:

Experience and Education:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred but not required. Must have a neat & clean appearance- company uniforms required.
