A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

- Seeking a Cleaner to work in the Ogdensburg NY area. Must have your own transportation. Start time after 7am-9am daily Monday thru Friday, plus Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Friday evening after 6 pm for a total of 20 hours per week. evening hours are flexible.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow safety procedures while handling chemicals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in industrial cleaning is a plus
- Basic knowledge of custodial duties This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and cleanliness are paramount.
