Job Description
DESCRIPTION
Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of our school buildings. Such work is performed under the supervision of a Head Custodian and a Supervising Head Custodian. Cleaning experience is preferred.EXAMPLES OF WORK
Sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming of floors; Washes windows, walls, whiteboard, furniture, blinds, and other building furnishings; Dusts rooms, hallways, furniture, and other furnishings; Cleans and replenishes lavatory supplies; Replacement of light bulbs; Moving of building supplies, materials, furnishings and building equipment; Minor paining; May perform snow removal, shoveling, and salting of sidewalks Civil Service Title Substitute Cleaner(s) Job Category Substitute Cleaners Job Location District-WideBenefits
