Overview Join our dynamic facilities team as a Janitor/Cleaner and become a vital part of maintaining a safe, spotless, and welcoming environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using various cleaning equipment such as a vacuum, mop, broom, and dustpan. Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, following all safety protocols. Conduct manual handling tasks, including the lifting of supplies or equipment, while adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain the cleanliness of industrial or commercial facilities through sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and glass cleaning. Follow established procedures for custodial services to uphold health standards and facility appearance. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques involving chemical agents and proper handling procedures. Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina. Previous porter or maintenance experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
