October 2026 We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications: Must hold Monroe County Civil Service title of Custodian or be reachable on a current list Ability to supervise assigned cleaners to meet District standards for building cleanliness Ability to work with individuals of all levels Good knowledge of building and cleaning practices, supplies and equipment Some knowledge of steam boiler and chiller equipment operation and maintenance Ability to make semi-skilled plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical repairs Willingness to perform janitorial tasks Thoroughness, dependability and good physical condition Initiative and imagination Computer experience preferred
