THE JOB:
An Environmental Services Porter ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of our property while providing exceptional guest service, contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.THE DAY-TO-DAY
Maintain cleanliness throughout the property by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in public and back-of-house areas Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, following established guidelines Assist guests with inquiries and ensure they have a positive experience Remove trash and recycling from designated areas, ensuring proper disposal practices Perform light maintenance tasks and report larger issues promptly to the appropriate departmentTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain required licensure through the New York State Gaming Commission Possesses strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with effective listening abilities Has previous experience in cleaning or maintenance, with knowledge of operating cleaning equipment safely Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with guests Is detail-oriented, reliable, and works well both independently and as part of a team Excels in customer service and interpersonal skills, fostering positive interactions with guests and team membersTHE PERKS & BENEFITS
