A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

We are looking for cleaners with cleaning experience to join our team for the Streetsboro/Aurora/Hudson/Tallmadge areas. We have multiple morning and evening shifts to fill that include but are not limited to start times of 6 am through 8:30 pm Monday to Sunday. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily cleaning duties and maintaining a tidy work environment. The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience and have the ability to work independently, follow instructions, and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Effectively use provided equipment -- including vacuums and cleaning solutions Clean surfaces in the given area. Clean windows and other hard surfaces. Dispose of trash and empty trash bins. Follow safety standards. vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and bathroom cleaning. Carry all cleaning products and equipment to and from office, vehicle, and inside assigned job Assist in keeping supplies stocked and maintain equipment Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort; being in uniform, dependable, and on time
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience (preferred but not required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites (A MUST) Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and how they are used Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment Ability to withstand regular physical contact with mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions

Part-time Pay:
$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
