Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene and safety Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to support overall building operations Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards Maintain detailed logs of completed tasks, supplies used, and any issues encountered for accountability and reporting purposes Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards efficiently and effectively Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is highly valued Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as buffers, extractors, mops, vacuums, and pressure washers Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts Basic understanding of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipmentJoin us in creating clean, safe environments that enhance the experience for everyone who enters our facilities.
