Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of classrooms, play areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle chemical agents safely by following all chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence guidelines Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture, cleaning supplies, or equipment to support facilities cleaning tasks Ensure sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces regularly and managing waste disposal properly Maintain cleanliness during designated shifts by following established cleaning routines and checklists Support general facilities maintenance tasks such as reporting issues requiring professional attention Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning methods including buffing and floor maintenance Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to chemical handling safety procedures Excellent manual handling skills with a focus on safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items Knowledge of safety protocols related to facilities maintenance and custodial work to ensure a secure environment for all occupants This energetic role invites motivated individuals eager to make a positive impact through diligent cleaning practices.
