Body Shop Porter/Parts distribution Tech

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Body Shop Porter/Parts Distribution Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our body shop operations. This energetic position involves managing parts distribution, supporting vehicle detailing and cleaning tasks, and ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles and supplies throughout the shop. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a seamless experience for both our team and customers. Whether you're assisting with car washes, buffing, or delivering parts, your contributions will keep our shop running at peak performance. Responsibilities Safely transport vehicles, parts, and supplies within the shop premises to ensure timely service delivery Assist with vehicle cleaning, detailing, buffing and to uphold quality standards Manage parts inventory by receiving, organizing, and distributing parts efficiently to technicians and staff Perform car wash and custodial duties to maintain a clean and professional work environment Support janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and general cleaning of work areas Drive company vehicles responsibly for errands related to parts pickup or delivery as needed Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and assisting with their needs promptly Qualifications Prior experience in custodial work, janitorial services, or automotive detailing is highly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe vehicle operation Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Knowledge of car wash procedures, detailing techniques, buffing, and is a plus Basic understanding of inventory management and organizational skills Willingness to learn new skills related to parts distribution and vehicle maintenance Be a team player and bring a positive attitude everyday Join us in delivering exceptional service while building your career in a fast-paced automotive environment!
