This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility while helping support a professional and sanitary environment for employees and visitors. The right candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing hands-on cleaning and basic maintenance tasks throughout the shift.

The Day-to-Day:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors throughout assigned areas Wash windows, walls, glass surfaces, and other facility areas as needed Clean and disinfect restrooms while restocking soap, paper towels, and other supplies Sanitize high-touch surfaces to help maintain a clean and safe environment Empty trash and recycling containers and clean receptacles when necessary Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs or addressing small maintenance issues Notify management of larger repairs or facility concerns Clean spills quickly and safely to prevent hazards Keep the janitorial closet organized and supplies properly stored Maintain indoor and outdoor areas, including sweeping entrances or shoveling snow when needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Must be able to lift approximately 25 to 50 lbs as needed Knowledge of proper cleaning, chemical handling, and general safety procedures Comfortable operating janitorial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and related tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sanitary workplace Dependable attendance and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay Rate:

$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30
