Porter, Part-Time Sandalwood Management Inc. - 3.2 Columbus, OH Job Details Part-time From $19 an hour 1 day ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Landscape maintenance Removing debris Sanitation Maintenance work High school diploma or GED Cleaning Facilities maintenance Entry level Full Job Description Sandalwood Management , a growing property management firm is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Porter to support the cleanliness, safety, and basic upkeep of a commercial property consisting of multiple office buildings. This role is ideal for someone interested in beginning a career in maintenance and facilities work, with opportunities to learn and develop hands-on skills through on-the-job training.
Compensation:
Starting pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday through
Thursday:
6:00 PM - 10:00
PM Saturday:
8:00 AM - 4:00
PM Total:
24 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, restrooms, and exterior spaces across multiple office buildings Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal Perform basic groundskeeping duties such as sweeping, picking up debris, and light landscaping Handle light maintenance tasks, including changing lightbulbs and unclogging toilets Respond to routine maintenance requests in a timely manner Assist with general upkeep and organization of maintenance supplies and equipment Report any safety hazards or repair needs to management Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Dependable and punctual
