Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment. Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move furniture, supplies, or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal throughout the facility Assist with custodial responsibilities including window washing, carpet cleaning, and light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting when needed Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or safety hazards promptly Skills Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and sanitation procedures Ability to handle cleaning equipment effectively and safely operate tools like floor buffers and scrubbers Familiarity with chemical agent handling safety procedures to ensure safe use of cleaning products Excellent manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices for heavy objects Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary Basic facilities maintenance knowledge including light repairs and upkeep tasks Embark on a rewarding journey where your attention to detail and commitment to safety make a real difference.
