Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive cleaning of classrooms, play areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces after operational hours Use appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and chemical sprayers to ensure optimal sanitation Handle cleaning chemicals safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of cleaning supplies, furniture, and equipment with safe lifting practices Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and care routines to ensure a clean and safe surface for children's activities Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or facility concerns to management promptly Follow custodial procedures aligned with health standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure sanitation compliance Requirements Proven experience in commercial or custodial cleaning, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning environments Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums Familiarity with chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards in childcare settings Excellent time management skills to complete cleaning tasks efficiently within scheduled hours Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous but not mandatory Join us in creating a safe, clean environment where children can thrive!
