Production/Sanitation - 2nd shift

Our Fort Recovery Egg Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, provides quality table and liquid eggs to consumers near and far. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Production/Sanitation team member to join our Liquid Egg Products team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 4:30pm-1:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE

$18.25 with the potential of increasing $19.10 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided for this entry level position.

Job functions include:

Loader/Material Handler:

Lifting stacks of flats of eggs on to the loader conveyor efficiently Disposing of inedible product in correct containers when needed.

Candler:

Being able to recognize and remove any dirt's, rotten, blood and leaking eggs.

Breaker:

Being able to recognize and remove any shells or blood in the cups.

Scanner:

Being able to recognize and remove any eggs that could create contamination (dirt's, leaker, blood, rot).

Sanitation:

Being responsible for completing and documenting the duties outlined on the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Scheduled Cleaning. Being responsible for labeling, mixing, handling and proper usage of cleaning chemicals. Being responsible for wearing proper PPE when using chemicals or cleaning supplies.
