Warehouse Associate - 1st shift

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Associate to join our team in Ft Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE

$17.90-$21.45 with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided for this position.

Job functions include:

Shipping, receiving and sorting material and product in an efficient and timely manner. Understanding, explaining and demonstrating proper procedures for staging, loading and shipping product to meet all customer and company requirements. Being accountable for becoming familiar with the specifications, procedures and operating standards relating to storage of product routinely stored in the warehouse. Cooperating, assisting and communicating with other team members and departments to maximize the quality and productivity of the company's warehouse space and its equipment High School diploma or GED preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills, human relation skills, math skills, organizational skills and experience with general computer functions. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record Willingness to obtain a forklift and pallet jack license but experience is strongly preferred Cooper Farms consistently works to be more than a workplace to our team members.
