Job Description
Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Associate to join our team in Ft Recovery.
Understanding, explaining and demonstrating proper procedures for staging, loading and shipping product to meet all customer and company requirements.
Being accountable for becoming familiar with the specifications, procedures and operating standards relating to storage of product routinely stored in the warehouse.
Cooperating, assisting and communicating with other team members and departments to maximize the quality and productivity of the company's warehouse space and its equipment
SHIFT HOURS
Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pmSTARTING HOURLY RATE
$17.90-$21.45 with a potential increase after 90 days.ADDITIONAL PAY
Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided for this position.Job functions include:
Shipping, receiving and sorting material and product in an efficient and timely manner.Understanding, explaining and demonstrating proper procedures for staging, loading and shipping product to meet all customer and company requirements.
