A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

The opportunity Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for part-time Cleaners to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. As a Cleaner, you will be a key member of the housekeeping team, helping to create a great guest experience by keeping the property clean and sanitized.   • Available for full-time, year-round team members What will you do?
Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures and replenish supplies, maintaining sanitation guidelines Conduct walk-around of assigned areas to ensure that the facility meets housekeeping standards Interact with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms, assisting guests as needed Report maintenance repair problems to Supervisor Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily More about you Must be at least 18 years of age Limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures Ability to work quickly under pressure Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations No high school diploma or GED required Physical requirements Frequent walking and standing for the entire length of the shift Frequent climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying Shift details Days Evenings Holidays M-F Weekends 8hr shift Who we are The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake boasts breathtaking views with its location on the southern shore of Lake Erie, near Geneva State Park in the heart of Ohio Wine Country.
