What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- ability to pass criminal background check
- ability to perform daily cleaning of buildings
- ability to operate basic mechanical cleaning equipmentResponsibilities include:
- sweeping, cleaning & scrubbing floors on a regular basis
- scrubbing & cleaning restroom fixtures & keeping restrooms stocked
- emptying waste receptacles
- dusting properly & regularly
- move furniture & equipment as needed
