Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help uphold our reputation for exceptional service. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your custodial skills while contributing to a professional and vibrant workplace. This position is 1 day a week every Saturday from 5 am-10 am. If the holiday falls on a Saturday an alternative day will be discussed if required. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including mopping and refinishing to maintain optimal floor care standards. Handle various cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and surface sanitation across different areas. Use appropriate chemical agents for cleaning tasks, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols related to floor cleaning chemicals and other cleaning agents. Maintain cleanliness of 22 restrooms areas while adhering to environmental services standards. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness of the facility. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting is highly preferred. Ability to handle chemical agents safely and effectively while following health and safety regulations. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and stand or walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
