Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Description:
Custodian - Second Shift, 1 FTE
Job Summary:
The Custodian - 2nd Shift is an individual contributor responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic school facilities that support student learning and district operations.
This position performs routine custodial duties, supports building operations and events, and ensures facilities meet cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the school day and after-hours as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license required. Prior custodial experience preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safely operate custodial equipment and cleaning supplies.
Basic computer use for communication and work assignments is required.
Working Conditions:
8 hours per day, 5 days per week. and 260 days per year. Per salary schedule at Lakota, starting at $18.32 per hour, based on verified previous experience.
