What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
About the Role Keystone Waste Solutions is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Metals Cleaner to join our Millersburg, OH facility. In this role, you will prepare and clean scrap and processed metal materials to meet quality and customer specifications, playing a key role in keeping our operation running efficiently and safely. What You'll Do
- Clean, sort, and prepare ferrous and non-ferrous metal materials for processing or shipment
- Remove contaminants such as dirt, rust, coatings, insulation, and non-metallic debris from scrap materials
- Operate hand tools and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect materials for grade accuracy and flag non-conforming items
- Load and stage cleaned materials for the next stage of processing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
- Support other yard and production tasks as assigned What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in metals recycling, scrap processing, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn equipment operation and material grading standards
