About the Role Keystone Waste Solutions is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Metals Cleaner to join our Millersburg, OH facility. In this role, you will prepare and clean scrap and processed metal materials to meet quality and customer specifications, playing a key role in keeping our operation running efficiently and safely. What You'll Do

• Clean, sort, and prepare ferrous and non-ferrous metal materials for processing or shipment
• Remove contaminants such as dirt, rust, coatings, insulation, and non-metallic debris from scrap materials
• Operate hand tools and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Inspect materials for grade accuracy and flag non-conforming items
• Load and stage cleaned materials for the next stage of processing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
• Follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
• Support other yard and production tasks as assigned What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Prior experience in metals recycling, scrap processing, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn equipment operation and material grading standards

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
