A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Weaver Industries Inc is hiring a TruClean NorthCoast DSP in Northfield, OH. This is a full-time position. Summary/Objective The employee will be responsible for all day-to-day functions of the TruClean operation. Also, this position is responsible for enforcing and maintaining all policies, procedures, and maintenance and security requirements. Further, this position will meet internal and external customer needs in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner. Major Work Duties Essential Job Functions Use approved chemicals to clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms and common areas Empty all trash bins Sweep and mop Dust and vacuum Wash windows Remove debris (indoors and outdoors) Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required Regular attendance is an essential function of this position Must follow all OSHA safety regulations Must possess a positive customer service attitude and image Must be willing to work as a team member Follow instructions Handle change in routines Display appropriate socialization at all times Supervisory Responsibility Must train and oversee crew members (per DODD rules and properly supervising and safety techniques, reviewing the training effectiveness) Must maintain a Safety Program for crew members, reviewing for continuous improvements Must maintain all crew members' ISPs, making sure the most recent ISP for each crew member has at the work-site (per DODD rules) Must follow MUI/UIR reporting procedures (per CSBDD and the DODD rules) Must report any changes or behavior issues to the crew member's Service & Support Administrator (SSA), the Division General Manager, and the Employment Services Manager Must complete and submit all required paperwork (tracking forms, etc.) Physical Demands Must be able to work with your hands, walk, stoop, kneel, bend and reach with hands and arms Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Monday through Friday, 6: 30 AM 3: 30 PM (approximate hours) Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
