Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

Duties:

• Perform custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
• Follow established safety procedures while using cleaning chemicals and operating equipment
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and report any maintenance issues
