Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to keep surfaces pristine and safe. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass partitions, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine. Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery, and specialized equipment as needed. Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Follow established health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for all staff and visitors. Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and maintenance activities for accountability and continuous improvement. Handle scheduling for volunteer staff. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning practices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning in high-traffic areas. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
