Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Machine Operator to join our facilities maintenance team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating a ride on auto scrubber and keeping it maintained. Your expertise in handling cleaning equipment and adhering to safety protocols is necessary. Duties Operate a ride-on floor scrubber efficiently to maintain floors, after effectively dust mopping all debris in the area Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain equipment by performing regular cleaning, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation. Follow all safety protocols diligently during machine operation and custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications Proven janitorial experience with auto scrubber qualifications and familiarity in commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Hands-on experience operating auto scrubber, and ride on scrubbers Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed. Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is highly desirable.
