Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Cleans the bar area, including mats, floors, sinks, drains, and other bar appliances. Change the soda bibs and stock all beverage supplies in the designated area. Keep areas clean, sanitary, and free of debris. Acknowledges, greets and converses in English with customers who approach the bar. Stocks bar and self-services station as needed. Calls a designated slot employee when needed by a guest or bartender. Provide a safe work environment for employees and guests. All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around ("head on a swivel"); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are "on stage". Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures. Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed. Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and manually push 300 pounds. Must be able to bend, pull and carry stock to refrigerators and cabinets. Ability to work in smoke filled environment. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. Ability to stand for long hours. Ability to work as a team player. Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around office area and throughout the casino property. Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights. Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a previous position, where the primary job duty is direct customer service is preferred. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. Must be able to communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.
