Job Summary:

As an assistant Cleaning Technician, you'll provide professional cleaning and restoration services to residential and commercial clients. We're looking for someone who's reliable, detail-oriented, customer-friendly, and takes pride in a job well done as well as wants to advance in a Professional trade. Cleaning & Restoration Technician - Key Responsibilities 1. Cleaning Technician Drive carefully to homes to provide service. Perform cleaning service to include carpet, rugs, upholstery, and tile/grout using truck-mounted or portable systems Pre-inspect job sites and communicate findings and expectations to customers Use cleaning tools to provide service as trained Apply pre-treatments, stain removers, and protectants as needed Move furniture and replace protective padding upon completion Perform content recovery, minor repairs on equipment, and maintance Communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after service Use software for job updates, scheduling, and invoices Work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Maintain cleanliness and care of equipment and company vehicle 2. Water Mitigation & Extraction Respond quickly to emergency water damage calls (including on-call rotations) Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and drying equipment Perform moisture readings and document drying progress Extract water from carpets, pads, and flooring using proper techniques Coordinate with customers and office staff to document affected areas and equipment used 3. Mold Remediation Assistance Assist in identifying and removing contaminated materials per industry safety protocols Follow containment procedures Support lead technician in HEPA vacuuming, antimicrobial application, and structural cleaning 4. Carpet Repairs & Stretching Perform re-stretching, patch repairs, seam work, and carpet reinstallation as needed Match carpet fiber, backing, and color for seamless results Use knee kickers, power stretchers, and other specialty tools 5. Customer Service & Reporting Deliver outstanding service with professionalism and care on every job Educate customers on aftercare and maintenance best practices Collect payments or verify completion of invoices using CRM software Maintain accurate job records, equipment usage, and time logs 6. Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance Clean and maintain tools, machines, hoses, and company vehicle daily Report maintenance issues or supply needs to management promptly Perform maintenance on equipment, vans, and tools as needed 7. Safety, Compliance & Training Follow IICRC and OSHA safety guidelines for chemical handling, mold, and flood environments Wear proper PPE for hazardous work and confined spaces Attend regular training to stay current with certifications and techniques

Requirements:

Valid driver's license Must pass background check Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, climb stairs, stand, and kneel for extended periods Excellent communication and customer service skills, sales skills are a plus Punctual, self-motivated, and dependable Experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
