Job Description

Jeff Foster Trucking is a non-corporate, family-owned trucking company that has been serving the transportation needs of customers in the continental U.S. for 40+ years. We will continuously look to improve how the customer views us by seeking moments of opportunity where we can exceed expectations. We are looking for a Tank Wash Technician to grow with us! This position is 8AM-5PM. Our facility is open 7 days a week, so we are requiring our employees to work at least 2 weekends a month. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday, or Saturday - Wednesday. Job Responsibilities The Tank Wash Technician is responsible for performing all aspects of tank trailer maintenance, including inspecting the trailer for residual product, and post-cleaning inspection of the interior/exterior of the trailer. Duties include properly disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble tank internally and externally. Must be able to work in tight and confined spaces, climb across narrow bridges, and lift equipment up to 75 pounds. Working in confined spaces is required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of relevant work experience in transportation, chemicals, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics preferred Must be mechanically inclined Must be able to read and understand English for the purposes of interpreting MSDS documents Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Physical Requirements Ability to lift/push and pull up to 100 pounds Exposure to shop environment (PPE will be provided). Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands to operate objects, tools, and controls.
