6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Other hours may be considered.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge:

Cleaning materials, methods, and procedures.

Skills:

Operating equipment used in cleaning, waxing, and stripping floors. Oral communication.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:

Sweeps, vacuums, mops, dusts, and steam cleans, strips, waxes, polishes and buffs floors, carpets and furniture, etc. Dumps trash, recycle containers and relines with liners. Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and replenishes supplies; cleans spills, drinking fountains, mirrors, tables, walls, fixtures, blinds, light fixtures, etc. Washes windows, walls, metal and woodwork. Some cleaning may require use of a stepstool and/or ladder. Orders cleaning supplies and performs general maintenance duties as required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Frequent exposure of up to 80% of work time to dirt, dust, noise, noxious fumes and odors, and extreme temperatures.

Mental and Physical Abilities:

Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy (25-50 lb.) cleaning supplies and/or equipment. Ability to work independently. Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance.
