Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing supplies to maintain hygiene standards. Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling. Maintain facilities by performing light maintenance tasks and reporting any repairs needed to the appropriate personnel. Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Support sanitation efforts by ensuring all areas meet health regulations and cleanliness standards. Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, with knowledge of commercial cleaning practices. Ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow chemical handling safety procedures. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Capable of performing heavy lifting and manual handling while practicing safe lifting techniques. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude to support a positive environment. Ability to work efficiently on both first and second shifts with flexibility in scheduling.
