A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Peak EVS and Peak Jani-King are excited to hire for a new traveling EVS Special Projects team in the area of northeastern Oklahoma . The positions are full-time and overnight Friday-Wednesday. Job Requirements Previous EVS or housekeeping experience required Ability to work effectively with peers, team members, and customers Strong communication and leadership skills Trustworthy, punctual, and dependable for all assigned shifts Reliable transportation Flexibility to work assigned shifts as needed Ability to take direction from supervisor and provide guidance to EVS 1 employees Duties & Responsibilities Perform all general cleaning duties assigned to EVS 1 employees (dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, etc.) Assist in training, guiding, and directing EVS 1 employees to ensure quality and efficiency Lead and participate in special projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisors or management Monitor cleanliness of assigned areas and ensure work is completed to company standards Remove trash and dirty linens from assigned areas Re-stock supplies and notify supervisor when inventory is low Act as a point of contact for EVS 1 staff when supervisors are not immediately available Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures Attendance / Call Out Policy Employees must notify their supervisor at least 2 hours prior to scheduled shifts if unable to report to work. Two (2) no call/no show incidents may result in possible termination. Complete attendance policy available on Connecteam and Paycom. Physical Demands & Work Environment Requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Requires standing or walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in environments with smoke, moderate noise, and bright lights. Must comply with all health and safety regulations. We're excited for you to apply today!
