Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Duties Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and techniques. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing as needed. Ensure all facilities are stocked with necessary supplies and report any maintenance issues. Carry out custodial duties such as trash removal, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Assist with residential painting projects when required. Collaborate with other staff members to maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility. Adhere to safety protocols while performing all cleaning tasks. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance. Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and facilities maintenance is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving equipment.
