A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

  • What You'll Do:
  • As an Custodian at Sodexo, you are an appearance care ambassador and hygiene hero. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service with a customer service smile to create a safe and healthy environment. Your passion for cleaning has a positive impact for those around you.
  • Responsibilities include:
  • + May provide housekeeping services in any location on client premises, including offices, patients'/residents' rooms, dorms, classrooms, schools, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention + Complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas of the site are glistening.
+ May drive a golf cart or other vehicles. + Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity + Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
