As a Porter, you will be a vital team member responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities. With core skills in cleaning, janitorial and custodial experience, and floor care, you will ensure that our premises are well-kept and presentable at all times. Your relevant skills in residential painting, industrial cleaning, and facilities maintenance will further enhance your ability to contribute to the upkeep of our establishment. Join our team and showcase your expertise in porter experience, maintenance, and buffing to help us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities Property Cleaning
  • Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and laundry rooms
  • Ensure exterior areas, such as walkways, parking lots, and courtyards, are clean and free of debris
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the maintenance team Unit Cleaning for Turns
  • Assist with cleaning vacant units during turnover periods
  • Ensure units are thoroughly cleaned and ready for new residents
  • Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces Cleaning-Related Work Orders
  • Respond to cleaning-related work orders from residents in a timely manner
  • Address issues such as spills, stains, and general cleanliness concerns
  • Communicate with residents to ensure their cleaning needs are met Team & Communication
  • Reports To:
    Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
  • Day-to-Day Support:
    RAMs, Maintenance Technicians, and office staff.
Works With:
Maintenance team and other staff to ensure property cleanliness and resident satisfaction Work Hours & Availability Availability should generally be during office hours, Monday to Friday, but may vary due to property needs and schedule fluctuations depending on the time of year and partner university schedules.
