SUMMARY The primary purpose of this job is to operate seed cleaners to condition and package grass seed for shipment, contributing to the company's mission to be an agricultural cooperative dedicated to innovative solutions, excellent service, and long-term relationships. The following are specific tasks and responsibilities related to this position, but the position may require other duties and special projects as assigned.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Process incoming shipments of grass seed as directed. Run grass seed cleaner in a safe manner to achieve a quality product. Assist with repair, maintenance, and safety issues on all equipment and buildings. Clean all containers and bins to prevent contamination. Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping isles, walk ways neat; maintain a clean warehouse and yard area Enter/write required information on shipping tickets and/or reports Properly label packaging for clean seed as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Knowledge and experience with conditioning grass seed is appreciated SALARY $18.00/hour
