A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

$1,500 Retention Bonus and 80 Hours of Paid Time Off after first 90 days of employment Job Overview Clean offices, event room, conference room, lobby, employee entrance, lunchrooms, vending machines, hallways, restrooms and shop floor, timeclocks, eye wash/ear plug stations, AED stations, empty and remove trash. Operate floor sweeper in manufacturing plant. Order cleaning and paper supplies. Job Responsibilities Actively observe and promote BWISE safety standards. Follow schedule given by Maintenance Supervisor. Clean offices, event room, conference room, lobby, employee entrance, lunchrooms, vending machines, hallways, restrooms and shop floor, timeclocks, and eye wash/ear plug stations. Vacuum all mats and clean cobwebs in lobby and main office. Wipe out microwaves, refrigerators, and wipe down tables in lunchrooms. Clean 10 restrooms: Mop floors and clean walls. Wipe down sinks, urinals, and toilets. Fill soap and paper products. Empty trash cans into dumpsters from offices, restrooms, and shop area. Operate floor sweeper and keep plant floor free of scrap metal, dirt and other debris. Wipe up any spills of oil, water or other liquid immediately. Check and fill hand sanitizers. Wash windows at entrances and front lobby. Order cleaning and paper supplies. Work areas and hand tools are to be kept clean and organized. Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting, bending and squatting frequently. Standing for 8-10 hours daily. Getting on and off the sweeper frequently throughout the day.
