Pay $17.50 per hour Monday through Friday Custodian exp needed Quick Starts Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment. Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs, replacing fixtures, and ensuring sanitation protocols are met. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks using proper safe lifting practices to move supplies or equipment efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, common areas, and specialized spaces with attention to detail. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning or maintenance activities. Requirements Proven custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment including floor buffers. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by adhering to chemical handling safety procedures. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.
