Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Service Department Porter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers and assist with vehicle movement, maintenance, and overall dealership operations. Your energetic approach will help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors and team members. Responsibilities Safely move and park customer and dealership vehicles, including standard passenger cars and larger vehicles, using proper driving techniques. Assist with vehicle cleaning, detailing, and light maintenance tasks as needed to prepare cars for service or delivery. Handle outdoor work duties such as vehicle transport in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Process cash transactions accurately for services or parking fees, demonstrating retail math and cashiering skills. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to coordinate vehicle movement and service needs. Assist with valet parking services, ensuring vehicles are parked securely and efficiently. Support the delivery process by transporting vehicles between locations or to customers when required. Requirements Prior experience in guest services, hospitality, or dealership environments is preferred but not mandatory. Valid driver's license with experience operating standard passenger cars; heavy lifting capability required for moving vehicles or equipment. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions. Experience in automotive service, valet parking, or as a delivery driver is advantageous. Basic cash handling skills along with familiarity with retail math for processing transactions accurately. Physical stamina for manual tasks such as heavy lifting and extended periods of outdoor activity.
